In early 2017, We got a damaged Mcintosh MC50 mono power amplifier. After repair and repeated testing, We modified several components and parameters to make the current machine. After all, the MC50 was an early product. At that time, due to the limitations of the production process and quality level of the components, this machine seemed simple and crude. Although the appearance and workmanship were rudimentary, the sound of this machine was not simple. These early machines continued the tuning trend of the original electronic tube circuit, and the sound was mellow and warm.

McKinton, which is unique in audio products, uses exclusive output transformers for both tube amplifiers and transistor amplifiers. There are many advantages in using the awesome output, mainly to ensure that the transistor can work in a more reasonable linear region when working under different frequency music signals, and the frequency characteristics and phase distortion of the output signal are low, which is an important part of ensuring the sense of hearing. But at the same time, it is quite difficult to produce such an output, which is why no one has tried it in the DIY circle for many years. After comparing different samples of several companies, we have selected the current partner, and there is basically no difference in comparison with the output of the original machine.
